Pricing · 2026

Priced like infrastructure. Not like a SaaS seat count.

Habeo is sold institutionally — one annual contract per institution. No per-endpoint creep, no per-admin license, no per-module SKU. The headcount of the college you serve doesn't decide what your asset module costs.

The principle
We charge by endpoint band, not by user. The price you see is the price you pay, plus a multi-year discount if you commit beyond FY27. Nothing else.

Frequently asked

Pricing questions, answered plainly.

The ones we hear on every demo call. If yours isn't here, ask us directly — we'll add it.

Why aren't you priced per device or per seat?
Because per-device pricing penalizes you for doing your job. Every device you discover would raise your bill — that's the wrong incentive structure for an asset module. Our pricing is fixed by your endpoint range. Hire more staff, refresh more hardware, run a hackathon: your bill is unchanged.
What happens if our endpoint count crosses a band mid-year?
Nothing, until renewal. If you're a Small College customer at 2,000 endpoints and you hit 2,400, we hold you at your current rate until your next renewal and then quote you the College tier. Same pattern at every band crossing — Small College → College, College → Enterprise, single-campus → System. We never invoice mid-term true-ups.
Do you discount for early payment, multi-year, or consortium buying?
Yes to all three. A three-year commitment signed in FY26 lands at 18% below annual list, held flat for the full term. Consortium and state-system buying gets bespoke treatment — talk to us. We honor Internet2 NET+ once we're onboarded (Q3 FY26).
How does procurement work? Are you on cooperative contracts?
We're a vendor on E&I Cooperative Services and OMNIA Partners as of FY26. State Systems can purchase off Texas DIR and the Massachusetts ITC73. We can also negotiate as a direct vendor; we've closed in under 60 days against ServiceNow renewals.
Is there a free trial?
Three on-ramps. (1) A no-card 24-hour live demo at /onboarding/try — click around a workspace seeded with sample data; nothing is saved, but you get a real feel for the product. (2) Self-serve Small College tier ($18k/yr, up to 2,000 endpoints) starts with a 14-day free trial (no card) on real data — both the live demo and Small College self-serve launch Q3 FY26. (3) For College and Enterprise tiers, a paid 90-day proof-of-value sized to one college or one campus — typically $18k, applied in full against your first-year contract if you proceed. The Design Partner program still covers a full year free for the first six institutions of FY26.
What about FedRAMP / StateRAMP / FISMA?
Habeo is SOC 2 Type II readiness (audit closes Q3 FY26) and publishes a HECVAT 2024 response today (Lite narrative + full HECVAT 4.1.5 workbook at /compliance/hecvat). We don't target FedRAMP because we don't sell to federal civilian. For state-system customers needing StateRAMP-equivalent posture, our System tier roadmap (FY27) includes single-tenant deployment into your AWS GovCloud organization; in the interim we run multi-tenant on Vercel with envelope-encrypted per-org secrets.
How long does implementation take?
Fast. Most institutions go from kickoff to first production cutover in 1 day to 1 week, depending on tier and how quickly source-system credentials and SSO are provisioned. Multi-campus System deployments add a repeatable per-campus pattern after the first campus is live.
What if we want to leave?
Your data is yours. Self-serve export in either CSV or Parquet ships Q3 FY26 (assets, relationships, audit trail, attachment manifest, with a documented schema). Until that lands, we provide the same export as a sales-led extract within 5 business days of request. We also publish reverse-migration playbooks for ServiceNow and Asset Panda — column-by-column mappings back to the source schema.
