Habeo is the IT asset management and CMDB platform built for higher education, replacing ServiceNow ITAM at universities with Workday-integrated, GASB 34/35-compliant, MDM-native asset tracking. We're hiring a Recruiter to build and run hiring for the team as we grow our customer base of colleges, R1 universities, and multi-campus systems.
This role is 100% remote. Habeo is remote-first and accepts applicants located anywhere in the world.
What you'll do
- Own full-cycle recruiting for open roles, from intake with hiring managers through offer and close
- Source and engage candidates through outbound outreach, referrals, and inbound pipeline management
- Screen candidates for skills, motivation, and fit, and present well-organized slates to hiring managers
- Build and maintain a strong candidate experience, including timely communication and feedback
- Partner with hiring managers to define role scope, leveling, and interview processes
- Track pipeline metrics and report on hiring progress, bottlenecks, and forecasted needs
What we're looking for
- Experience as a recruiter, ideally in a startup or fast-growing company environment
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously across different functions
- Strong communication skills and comfort acting as a company ambassador to external candidates
- Familiarity with sourcing tools, ATS platforms, and structured interview processes
- Ability to work independently, prioritize, and adapt as hiring needs shift
